Nominations for the Technician of the Year must be sent to Harold Stence, Pearland ISD PO. Box 7 3202 E. Plum Pearland Texas 77581, before May 1st, of the current year. The nomination must come from the director, in a short essay type format stating why you feel your technician should be Technician of the Year. The other qualifications are as follows.
a. Must be a working technician.
b. Must have two years school transportation experience.
C. Must be a member of TAPT or TASBT in good standing.
SHOP SUPERVISOR OF THE YEAR:
The nominations and qualifications are the same as for the Technician of the Year, except that your nominee must be a working Shop Supervisor, Foreman, Plant Manager, Operation Manager, etc.
Heavey Duty Bus Parts will be sponsoring this program, the prizes at this time will be a plaque and a $500.00 scholarship.
